After practicing as a physical therapist for almost three decades across the healthcare spectrum, from hospitals to inpatient rehab to outpatient to home care and everything in between, I finally decided in 2019 to take the leap and do things the way I always felt they should be done: patients first, no exceptions.

 

I realized that the most vital element of successful rehabilitation, regardless of the setting or condition, is time: time to listen to patients, to evaluate problems, to teach, and to learn.

By keeping our practice small, we don't need to rush in and out. We don't need a revolving door of patients to make ends meet. This allows us to provide the empathetic, individualized care each person deserves. It also allows us to communicate effectively with not only clients and families, but with physicians, providers, and clinic staff to ensure all issues are addressed.
